Founded in 2022, The Jack Yates Production Experience (JYPE), aimed to provide an immersive teaching experience that exposed students to creative professions and the broader possibilities within the arts while honoring the work and legacy of Mr. Ray Carrington lll. JYPE is an immersive teaching experience that nurtures imagination beyond the classroom and exposes the students of Jack Yates to infinite possibilities of the arts and creative industry. The purpose of this experience is to empower the youth of the 3rd ward community to imagine creativity as an incubator for success and ownership of skill + personal narrative.
Through A Cultural Lens Juneteenth celebration (2022) was sponsored by Ciroc in collaboration with Beck & Call Hospitality to honor the photographic memory of Ray Carrington lll and Earlie Hudnall, Jr. in Third Ward, Houston.
